SERVICES

ManageMentorship

Alliance is excited to announce the launch of our first of it's kind Construction ManageMentorship Program. This unique offering combines traditional construction management with dedicated mentorship for trade partners. Alliance's CM/M service is designed to ensure the success of each project as well as provide comprehensive support and guidance to disadvantaged (MBE, WBE, DBE) trade partners.

 

Through this service, each trade partner will receive personalized mentorship from bidding and preconstruction through project closeout. Alliance's operations team will teach trade partners a proven operations playbook, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and knowledge that will help them thrive on future projects.


The Alliance team will be co-located in the same job trailers with the supervisory staff of each trade partner. This close proximity guarantees immediate support and fosters a collaborative team environment, ensuring all partners have the support they need. Each project will create mentoring opportunities, and over time, we will grow strong, sustainable trade partners which will foster a more inclusive and equitable construction industry.

Consulting

Alliance offers A la carte consulting services to Owners, GC's, and Trade Partners on a variety of construction operations disciplines that include: estimating, cost consulting, preconstruction planning, cost coding setup, proven trade partner SOP's, forecasting, units tracking, billings, change management, manpower planning, scheduling, safety, quality, and full jobsite and team coordination.

CM / Owner's Rep

We provide CM services for turnkey work packages to fit your project needs and help provide that extra level of guidance and oversight you are needing to assure successful project delivery.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to get to know us! I'm Markeda Miller, but those who know me well just call me Keda.  I’m extremely excited to be starting this new business venture alongside my husband, Ben, and want to share a little bit of our story with you. Our journey together began in Cameron, MO, where we first met in church as kids. We've truly been like family from day one, with Ben being very close friends with my brother growing up and our parents spending countless hours together. Our bond strengthened over the years, evolving from hide-and-seek in the neighborhood to partners in life and business. We've been blessed with a family of two children, Ben II and Aliyah, who inspire us every day to be the best version of ourselves.

During my college years, my passion to help others led me to study criminal justice and social work, with a focus on supporting troubled youth. However, after college, I found my way into the construction industry, working alongside my husband as a project coordinator. Eventually, I decided to step away from work in order to raise our children.  As our kids got a little older and into grade school, I ran my own cleaning business for several years. Once our kids' activities ramped up in middle school, I was blessed with the freedom to stay home and support them in whatever hobbies and interests they desired. Like all moms, I became event coordinator, uber driver, nurse, chef; whatever the moment required. Balancing work and family has been very challenging, but has prepared me well for the journey we are now on. Now that we are a year out from an empty nest, we are excited to partner up again on this next venture we call Alliance!

Ben's story in construction began early, from building with Legos as a child to working with his dad framing houses through high school and college. After earning a B.S. in Construction Management from the University of Central Missouri, he spent several years as an estimator and project manager with a masonry trade partner. His career truly flourished at JE Dunn Construction, where he spent 17 years, eventually leading a self-perform business unit in Omaha, NE, from a $1M operation in 2018 to over $100M in 2024.  Ben’s decision to make a big career pivot has been driven by his desire to fulfill a purpose of serving others in need.

​

The inspiration for Alliance comes from our desire to make a difference and feel a sense of true purpose in helping others grow their companies and achieve their goals. By  growing strong companies, we believe it will open up great career opportunities for many people who wouldn't have otherwise been given a chance. This company is our way of giving back to the people and organizations that have been there for us, our families, and our friends. We view this business as our ministry, a way to serve and uplift those around us!
